From Family Tradition to a Cardiff Launderette
Tailoring has been part of my life since childhood.
I grew up visiting tailor shops with my father, watching garments being altered and repaired with patience and precision. That early exposure sparked a passion for the craft, and I later trained as an apprentice in Ras Al Ain, Syria, learning professional tailoring, repairs, and clothing alterations.
In 2002, I opened my own tailoring business and worked independently for several years. When the war forced many of us to leave everything behind, I eventually migrated to the UK with the help of the British government.
After settling in Cardiff and working hard to rebuild, I returned to my passion. In 2020, Osta Cardiff Launderette opened to serve the local community with honest work, fair pricing, and skilled tailoring.
