When he went to pick it up it turned out that someone else took my clothes. No idea how they let this happen. For 4 days my clothes were essentially lost and once the person who took them had been contacted, only half of my stuff was returned. My personal items are now either with this stranger or are just lost. The owner is not claiming any responsibility for LOSING MY CLOTHES and refuses to compensate!!! I paid £15 for them to lose my clothes and the owner won’t even give me a refund let alone compensate me for what I lost. He had the audacity to offer a refund of £2!!! £2 will not cover the cost of the personal items I have lost. It also makes me so deeply uncomfortable to know my personal stuff is in some strangers home. I understand that things like this so happen but as a business you must take responsibility it is so unprofessional to not take any ownership over what happened. —-edit following response—— I can’t believe you would lie like this. I am upset because part of my clothing that I handed over is GONE. LOST. I got back SOME of my clothing my not ALL. I don’t know what is hard to understand about that. And please do not lie and say my dad asked for £150 he simply asked for you to compensate for what I had lost and/or give a refund. Don’t lie to make yourself look better. I know what I handed over and I did not get it all back. You didn’t even refund £15 - unacceptable. YOU made a mistake. Own up to it.
